Iconic City Residence

In an ideal world, clients have interesting homes, challenging problems to solve, and are themselves fully engaged with the process. Here is a perfect example. Over the last 15 years, we have helped our clients modernize their home designed in 1971 by architect Jim Tuley as his personal residence. There have been projects large and small, but our clients’ first objective is always to preserve the original intent of the designer. The result is a sensitive renovation of a quietly iconic City home.  The kitchen is a great example. The fixtures and finishes are new but the layout faithfully follows the original and the space’s strong horizontals remain.
